磷酸钛钾晶体是一种非线性光学材料,在商用和军用激光器中都有应用。它最广泛地用于Nd: YAG激光器和其他掺钕激光器的倍频。这是因为它具有非线性光学系数大、光谱带宽和宽角带宽等特性。

 

KTP晶体对于350-2700nm之间的波长高度透明,而在4500 nm时,它基本上是不透明的。由于其高损伤阈值,其他用途包括用于红外区域高达4µm的光学参量振荡器。

            图 1 表示 x-y 平面中 KTP 的 2 型二次谐波产生(SHG)调谐曲线。在 x-y 平

            面中,斜率 d(Dk)/dq 很小。这对应于准角非临界相位匹配,它确保了大接收

            角和小离散角这两个优势。

图2表示KTP在x-z平面上的2型SHG调谐曲线。在x-z平面上,对于1.5-2.5um

范围内的波长,斜率d(Dk)/dq几乎为零,这对应于准波长非临界相位匹配,

确保了较大的光谱接受度。波长非临界相位匹配非常适合短脉冲的频率转换。
